Responsibilities

Coordinating with suppliers
Reviewing designs
Integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements
Actively participate in design reviews
Review/approve subcontract deliverables
Gauge supplier readiness to enter contractual milestones
Transition to test and verification oversight to assist suppliers through a successful qualification event

Required

BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's; or 1 year with a PhD
BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD
Experience with Support Equipment hardware development for aircraft/aerospace programs; including requirements generation, conceptual/detail design, design reviews, and/or testing
Experience with Support Equipment requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation
Must be an expert with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred

Master's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related field with 5-9 years of relatable work experience
Experience with Teamcenter
Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools
Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience
Knowledge in design of electrical subsystems
Knowledge in the development of SE design solutions
ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T
