Responsibilities
Become an expert in Ordway’s suite of products – billing software, accounts receivable automation, and SaaS metrics reporting
Present products or services that would be beneficial to the potential customer’s business
Plan detailed presentations that show potential customers’ product info and benefits
Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully sell them
Work closely with cross-functional teams to present the best solution for a potential customer
Meet with potential customers at appointments for sales presentations
Follow up to ensure the customer is happy throughout the sales process
Work closely with Ordway client services team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to an ongoing relationship
Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technology or finance discipline
5+ years of experience with billing, ERP, finance, or accounting software
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
