Senior Manager - Information Systems

Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day delivery of IT services across the company’s portfolio in coordination with the MSP, ensuring high system availability, cybersecurity, compliance, and user satisfaction
Develop and execute IT strategies that align with contract performance and organizational goals
Champion digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain HunaTek’s CMMC Level II compliance, and position the company for successful recertification in the year 2027
Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects, including infrastructure modernization, system integrations, data management improvements, and automation initiatives
Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency across the enterprise
Collaborate with company leadership to define and execute the corporate IT and data strategy, aligning technology investments with organizational priorities
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) for IT service delivery and project execution
Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives and compliance efforts to protect systems and data
Prepare, manage, and monitor the IT operating budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that enhance collaboration, productivity, and business intelligence capabilities
Working with MSP to maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures to support continuity and regulatory compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required
6–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience
Strong background in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and cybersecurity
Proven success leading technology initiatives that align IT capabilities with business objectives to include: Data Strategy, Data Management and Integration, AI enablement and efficiencies, Process and process flow automation
Strong understanding of cloud environments (Microsoft365, GCC-H, etc.), cybersecurity principles, and DOD CMMC compliance requirements and associated controls
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and business functions
Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts
Preferred
Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
