Responsibilities
Oversee production, scheduling, maintenance, safety, and quality across multiple sites
Establish and document standard operating procedures, production standards, and quality controls
Support facility improvements, capital projects, and layout optimization
Improve throughput, labor efficiency, equipment uptime, and capacity utilization
Drive preventative maintenance, asset reliability, and uptime performance programs to support consistent output
Lead sourcing, inventory management, and inbound material flow
Improve demand planning, inventory accuracy, and working capital performance
Oversee order flow from production through delivery, including backorders and service issues
Strengthen supplier performance and inbound reliability, including external manufacturing partners
Oversee warehousing, fulfillment, and outbound logistics operations
Improve service levels, delivery performance, and cost efficiency
Support logistics planning and carrier coordination
Lead, mentor, and develop operations leaders across manufacturing and supply chain
Support recruiting, onboarding, and leadership transitions within operations teams
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Establish KPIs and operating metrics across production, supply chain, and fulfillment
Report operational performance to senior leadership and identify improvement opportunities
Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery
Utilize ERP and production management systems to support scheduling, tracking, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Senior operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Multi-site manufacturing and distribution experience
Strong background in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management
Demonstrated success driving standardization, lean practices, and incremental improvement
Experience managing inventory, sourcing, and supply chain operations
Comfortable balancing hands-on leadership with strategic responsibility
Financial awareness related to labor, materials, capital, and operating costs
Strong working knowledge of ERP and operational management systems
Bachelor's degree required in engineering, operations, or business preferred
Lean, continuous improvement, or quality related certifications required

Advanced degree a plus
