Responsibilities

Scheduling depositions, motions and other hearings when needed
Experience filing in state and federal courts
Ability to prepare motion and discovery shells, motion filing
Expert coordination for depositions and trial
Preparation for trial/mediation/arbitration documents
Interface with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks
Experience working with sensitive material cases
Experience with Federal filing is a plus

Required

5+ years insurance defense litigation experience
Advanced skills to fill this hybrid assistant position
Prior experience in a law firm
Comparable experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy litigation firm
Ability to multitask
Great communication and organizational skills
Experience scheduling depositions, motions and other hearings
Experience filing in state and federal courts
Ability to prepare motion and discovery shells, motion filing
Expert coordination for depositions and trial
Preparation for trial/mediation/arbitration documents
Interface with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks
Experience working with sensitive material cases
Attention to detail
Quick and efficient at transcribing dictation
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Westlaw drafting software programs
Prolaw calendaring, document management or comparable program experience
Exemplary grammar and spelling skills
Ability to self-manage and work well on a team

Preferred

Experience with Federal filing is a plus
