Research Health Educator - Center for Advancing Population Science

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Research Health Educator for the Center for Advancing Population Science. In this role, you will deliver health education interventions, monitor study participant adherence, and assist with multiple research grants to support the center's mission.

Responsibilities

Deliver protocol driven health education sessions. Face-to-face, telephone or videoconferencing technology as appropriate
Train and monitor study participant adherence to key elements of the study protocol
Monitor adverse patient outcomes
Perform duties needed including case management and decision-making
Attend and participate in all assigned meetings and study activities, Preparing and disseminating information at necessary
Provide health education to community sites, establish and nurture community partnerships, work with designated community sites to advance research, education, and training mission of the center
Assist with multiple research grants as needed with tasks to support PI in writing and presenting research reports and research protocols
Other Organize and remind study participants of upcoming appointments
Serve as a connection between the participant and various team members to ensure the smooth running of research projects
Monitor adverse patient outcomes
Schedule and coordinate sessions and perform research health educator data collection during initial visit and follow-up sessions
Assist in randomizing participants to their intervention group

Required

Bachelor's Degree
