Law Practice
Responsibilities
Own or co-own plaintiff PI matters from early discovery through resolution or trial, depending on experience
Draft and respond to written discovery, subpoenas, and motions; oversee case scheduling and deadlines
Take and defend depositions of parties, corporate designees, treating physicians, and experts as appropriate
Help develop damage-proof solutions for serious injuries with the support of the team and experts
Prepare matters as if they will be tried: trial themes, witness prep, motions in limine, and pretrial readiness
Meet in person once a week (as needed) at our Phoenix office for strategy, trial preparation, and team alignment
Qualification
Required
Active Arizona Bar license; able to appear in Arizona state courts
2+ years of civil litigation experience
Solid fundamentals in written discovery, motion practice, and deposition work
Strong case ownership mindset and ability to drive a file forward
Ability to attend in-person Arizona proceedings as needed and attend periodic in-office meetings
Preferred
Plaintiff PI experience
Any meaningful trial experience (trial prep, motions in limine, witness prep, second-chair, arbitration/hearings)
Experience with serious injury damages, including TBI and spine
