Director of Growth Marketing

Payloop is a company focused on helping AI-native and SaaS businesses optimize their AI costs. The Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for building and scaling Payloop's growth engine, managing demand generation strategies, and overseeing the content pipeline while collaborating with sales to drive qualified leads.

Responsibilities

Own the full-funnel growth strategy with MQL generation as the primary KPI
Build and run targeted campaigns across paid, organic, outbound support, ABM, LinkedIn, and partnerships
Experiment rapidly to uncover channel-market fit and cost-effective acquisition loops
Build dashboards and funnels to track CAC, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
Partner closely with sales to drive qualified pipeline and accelerate deals
Manage the content pipeline (you do •not• need to write everything, but you must own the calendar, quality bar, and outcomes)
Oversee freelancers, agencies, AI-assisted content tools, and internal contributors
Translate complex AI-cost concepts into clear narrative direction for content creators
Identify, evaluate, and manage podcast appearances, webinars, conferences, and trade shows
Handle logistics, budgets, creative, and staffing for events
Amplify Payloop’s category leadership in AI economics, LLM cost optimization, and outcome-based monetization
Build founder-brand and company-brand presence across LinkedIn, industry forums, and communities
Use modern growth tools, AI tooling, CRM/marketing automation platforms, and attribution systems (HubSpot, GA4, Clearbit, Mutiny, Clay, Apollo, etc.)
Leverage AI for content acceleration, personalization, research, and experiment velocity (experience with Copy.ai a plus)
Set up analytics, dashboards, and growth insights for weekly reporting

Required

7–12+ years in growth marketing at AI, SaaS, fintech, or developer/SaaS infrastructure companies
Hands-on experience with modern growth stacks and AI tools
Strong demand gen background with proven MQL pipeline ownership
Early-stage or startup experience (Seed–Series B preferred)
Experience evaluating and managing podcasts, conferences, and industry events
Strong analytical mindset—comfortable with spreadsheets, modeling, KPIs, and attribution
Creative and entrepreneurial, with bias toward action and velocity
Excellent communicator capable of simplifying complex technical concepts

Preferred

Experience marketing to technical buyers (CTOs, PMs, Eng, RevOps, AIOps, FP&A)
Usage-based or outcome-based pricing background
Experience in AI infrastructure, LLM tooling, observability, or cost optimization space
Prior experience managing agencies or contractors
