Responsibilities
Build new products and features from 0 → 1, owning projects end to end
Design and ship modular, maintainable, and high-quality code across the stack
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams
Engage with customers directly to shape the roadmap and improve user experience
Elevate the engineering team by mentoring peers and contributing to technical discussions
Help scale both our product and our culture by interviewing and referring great engineers
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience building web applications, ideally in startup or scale-up environments
Experience at a reputable tech company or top-tier school
Either a founding engineer, former founder, or someone who thrives with ownership
Deep experience with TypeScript across the stack
Skilled with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue) and backend tools (Node.js, Mongo, AWS)
High collaboration chops — former peers in product/design rave about working with you
Strong customer empathy and genuine care for the problem space
Clear sense of ownership, initiative, and craft in everything you ship
Preferred
Experience mentoring or managing junior developers
Proven success working remotely
Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-paced, product-first environments
