Sentinel - Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - 17168*
Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense technology company, and they are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program. The role involves collaborating with teams to develop systems architecture, manage requirements, and create engineering artifacts for missile control systems.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts
Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design
Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model
Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis
Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)
Qualification
Required
BS degree in STEM with 5 Years of related systems engineering experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD for Principal Systems Engineer
Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
1+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool
1+ year experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems
1+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities
1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation
BS degree in STEM with 8 Years of related systems engineering experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Year with PhD for Sr. Principal Systems Engineer
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
2+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations
2+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW
2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Command & Control (C2), physical security, cybersecurity, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development (e.g. Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2, B-21 delivery systems)
Preferred
1+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool
Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership
1+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities
1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
