Responsibilities
Evaluate technical aspects of savings opportunities to ensure the highest value and lowest risk projects are pursued
Directly create markups, author test plans, perform testing, and submit change requests
Collaborate with CAD, technicians, test departments, and other engineering specialties to ensure the successful completion of the project
Align with supply chain as the primary customer for priorities and deliverables
Create and communicate dashboards of cost savings status to stakeholders
Support proof of concept evaluation and testing of cost savings opportunities on new product development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, product development, or sustaining engineering roles
Strong understanding of engineering change processes and product lifecycle management
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in authoring test plans and performing validation testing
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred
Familiarity with supply chain processes and cost modeling
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a global environment
Experience working in multiple discipline engineering teams
