Responsibilities
Serve as a hands-on technical leader, contributing primarily to backend development while guiding the team on system architecture and design
Leverage your experience to improve code quality, manage technical debt, and implement scalable software practices
Work extensively with backend systems and columnar/OLAP databases like Clickhouse
Mentor junior engineers and help foster a culture of technical excellence and maturity within the engineering organization
Collaborate with the founding team to make key decisions on scalability and system reliability
Qualification
Required
5 - 8 years of experience in fullstack or backend engineering at top tier companies (VC- backed or FAANG)
Experience at known, top tech companies either tier 1 VC- backed or FAANG
Currently an individual contributor (IC)
Experience with an OLAP or columnar database (e. g. , ClickHouse, Apache Druid, StarRocks, Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake,DuckDB, Vertica)
Experience designing and building scalable backend systems
Experience mentoring others
