SAIC is seeking an entry level on-call Data Technician for upcoming work in various locations throughout the US. In this role you will support operational testing of various types of security equipment located in the nation’s airports.

Responsibilities

Collects data under the supervision of a site lead, shift lead, or experienced data collector
Reviews collected data to adjudicate any anomalies identified by the site lead/data analysis personnel
Strong written and oral communication skills required, as well as ability to work well with others in team
Must be able to present oneself professionally in dress and demeanor
Must maintain responsible, dependable behavior, as well as professional focus and awareness while working in potentially stressful environment that includes noise from alarms, machinery, and people/crowds and hard deadlines
Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift
100% travel required; each trip duration may be 2 weeks to 3 months
Must be willing to travel to various locations throughout the US for the duration of the assignment
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be comfortable in tight spaces and having the ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks as needed
Ability to obtain DHS suitability
Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
