Responsibilities

Lead our front-end architecture and development efforts for Foresight and ICM, owning responsibility for our front end development teams, who could be remote contractors (e.g. in India). Responsible for creating user experiences that delight our end users
Help refine our roadmap and FE stories
Own and validate authentication, authorization (including RBAC), and Next.js web server components to achieve sufficiently granular access controls. Will mitigate and fix vulnerabilities in accordance with our SLA, ensuring minimal downtime, and complete resolution of customer escalations
Design and execute unit and end to end tests for authentication, authorization, workflows and application functionality; collaborate with customer IT teams during onboarding and initial installations to ensure seamless first-time sign-ins and production readiness
Lead prototyping, testing, documentation and validation of SSO and authentication and migrations, verifying portability, security, and backward compatibility with no regressions
Champion React frontend quality practices: lead upgrades, governance of shared libraries (including material), and enforcement of sustainable coding standards to prioritize customer success and long-term maintainability
Create and ensure adherence to Cutsforth Design Systems for our front end applications
Take ownership and provide deep collaboration with QA for our applications, including validation of identification and creation of new UI components (e.g., split buttons in shared libraries) to eliminate duplicates and improve workflow consistency
Establish and maintain company-wide JavaScript, TypeScript, and React linting configurations (published to npm) to reduce decision fatigue, enforce consistency, and prevent quality issues at the source
Author and promote key security documentation, such as secure frontend development guidelines for cloud-tier applications using React, ensuring widespread adoption as a reference standard
Collaborate with IT to provision and test performance environments (e.g., Azure AKS clusters using Terraform and Helm) and validate scalability, reliability, and security under load
Serve as a Security Champion: contribute to threat modeling policies (including redefining STRIDE frameworks), leverage AI for threat categorization, deliver team training, and adapt organizational threat modeling specifically for frontend contexts
Conduct comprehensive testing across functional, security, regression, and performance areas; identify, document, and track defects while verifying fixes to maintain platform integrity

Deep proficiency in React architecture, large-scale shared libraries, upgrades, and best practices (including linting standardization across JavaScript/TypeScript/React)
Experience leading or contributing to UI working groups, authoring technical guidelines/documents (e.g., on module organization, testing, localization, custom elements), and ensuring frontend sustainability
Solid background in threat modeling (STRIDE), security champion initiatives, frontend-specific security practices, and training teams on secure development
Familiarity with infrastructure tools (Terraform, Helm, AWS) for testing/performance environments and cross-team collaboration for deployments/migrations
Proficiency in full-stack development/testing concepts (React/TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, with exposure to C# or Ext JS a plus)
