They are seeking a skilled Mig/Tig Welder to join their production team in a new manufacturing facility in Topeka, KS, where the welder will fabricate parts and assemblies for custom OEM projects to exact specifications.

Responsibilities
Interpret and follow welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings
Use calibrated measuring tools to fit up assemblies properly
Utilize hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery-powered tools
Operate plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and carbon air arc equipment
Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes
Work with Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel
Maintain equipment and a clean work area
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Assist in other production areas as needed
Qualification
Required
1+ year of welding experience
Experience with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes
Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math
Ability to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to pass a pre-employment check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol test
Preferred
Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding
