Responsibilities
Perform the full Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver safe, individualized patient care
Function as an OR Circulator, coordinating care before, during, and after surgical procedures
Provide patient-centered, relationship-based care, partnering with patients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality surgical outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with standards and policies
Practice in alignment with evidence-based clinical standards and professional nursing practice
Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
Support efficient use of human and material resources
Serve as a preceptor/mentor when needed and complete all required competencies and education
Comply with regulatory, legal, accreditation, and patient safety standards
Qualification
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergency situations
Basic computer and clinical technology proficiency
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
