Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on extrusion equipment including presses, billet loaders, ovens, pullers, and saws
Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and PLC-controlled devices
Perform electrical work up to 480V, including wiring, MCCs, and control panels
Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts such as vibration analysis and thermography
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on equipment upgrades, energy efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction
Qualification
Required
Flexibility to work across various shifts, including mandatory Sundays
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on extrusion equipment including presses, billet loaders, ovens, pullers, and saws
Experience in maintaining and repairing hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and PLC-controlled devices
Ability to perform electrical work up to 480V, including wiring, MCCs, and control panels
Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts such as vibration analysis and thermography
