Bookkeeper
Dinkins Construction LLC is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support accurate job costing. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Manage job costing and track expenses by project
Reconcile credit card statements
Prepare and submit monthly AIA billings
Track retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor compliance
Maintain accurate general ledger entries
Qualification
Required
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, construction industry preferred
Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting
Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks or similar
Solid experience with Excel Spreadsheets
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with commercial construction projects
Familiarity with AIA billing, certified payroll, and prevailing wage
Experience working with subcontractors and vendors
