Responsibilities
Identify NSA-eligible claims for out-of-network services
Prepare and submit federal IDR cases (and state IDR when applicable)
Compile and organize required IDR documentation, including:
EOBs
Medical records
Fee schedules / Fair Health data
Supporting rationale and payment justification
Track IDR timelines, deadlines, and determinations
Respond to payer communications and requests for additional information
Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of IDR submissions and outcomes
Work closely with internal billing and AR teams to align strategy
Qualification
Required
Direct experience filing NSA IDR cases (this is mandatory)
Strong understanding of No Surprises Act regulations
Federal IDR timelines and submission requirements
Out-of-network reimbursement methodologies
Experience working with out-of-network surgical claims
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Ability to work independently and manage multiple IDR cases simultaneously
