Senior Product Manager
Microsoft is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of next-generation infrastructure and developer tooling for agents on the Microsoft Teams platform. In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of a critical component of Teams’ ecosystem that empowers developers to build intelligent, scalable agents.

Responsibilities
Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the infrastructure and tooling that supports agents within the Microsoft Teams platform
Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with Microsoft’s broader cloud and collaboration strategies
Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to design, build, and launch scalable infrastructure solutions and developer tools that accelerate the creation and deployment of agents
Oversee the complete product lifecycle—from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and continuous improvement
Lead cross-organizational teams, working closely with internal stakeholders (including engineering, security, compliance, and operations) to ensure product quality, scalability, and alignment with Microsoft’s architectural standards
Drive alignment between teams on critical initiatives, acting as the primary liaison between business, technical, and partner organizations
Advocate for developers by gathering feedback, identifying pain points, and translating these into actionable improvements in the agent infrastructure and tooling
Champion best practices and foster a community around the use of Microsoft Teams as a platform for building intelligent agents, including providing thought leadership in developer experiences
Establish key performance metrics and success criteria to monitor and optimize the infrastructure’s performance, cost, and reliability
Proactively manage risks, mitigate issues, and continuously drive improvements to ensure a seamless developer experience and high service reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)
4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn)
4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product)
Prior experience with Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within cloud or collaboration software environments
Solid technical background with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams, understand architectural trade-offs, and drive strategic technical decisions
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in translating technical details to business and executive audiences
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, conversational interfaces, or related developer tooling
Proven ability to innovate and drive change in fast-paced, dynamic environments
