The role involves assisting with month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts)
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare supporting schedules for audits and management reports
Assist with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) as needed
Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support external auditors during audit reviews
Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5-years of accounting experience (public or corporate accounting preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle)
Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software
Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
Knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Must always maintain the highest level of Confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills: Must have a working knowledge of Excel and Word
Ability to multi-task, follow up, and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to identify discrepancies and take initiative to research variances and correct
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA preferred
Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software
