Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD software to generate detailed technical drawings based on project specifications and requirements
Work closely with the engineering and design teams to understand project objectives and ensure accurate representation in drawings
Make revisions to existing drawings as needed, incorporating feedback from project stakeholders
Adhere to company and industry drawing standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in all drawings
Collaborate with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders to convey design ideas and address any drawing-related queries
Stay updated on industry trends, AutoCAD advancements, and best practices to enhance drawing processes
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficient in AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret engineers structural and mechanical drawings
Ability to work under limited supervision
Proficient in Excel
Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with project managers and contractors
Must have the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently
Possesses team work attitude
Strong attention to detail
Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years previous drafting experience required
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
