InternCalgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a dynamic, motivated college student for their 2026 Internship program starting June 1, 2026. The R&D Intern in the Carbon Applications Group will gain real-world experience through laboratory safety training, testing for PFAS, and conducting data interpretation and project presentations.

Responsibilities
Complete Laboratory Safety Training
Isotherm & Column (RSSCT) Testing for PFAS, Municipal Water, Food Grade Applications with activated carbon
Processing, analytical & bench top testing, activated carbon evaluation, activated carbon fundamentals and adsorption technology
Data interpretation
Final project summary report & Power Point presentation
Qualification
Required
All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
Candidates must be willing to comply with pre-employment testing
Working towards a bachelor's degree or higher in: Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change
Self-motivated and able to acquire new skills quickly
Skilled in analyzing problems in a systematic and timely manner
Ability to look for creative ways in offering new approaches
Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
