Required

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on highly performant, resilient and scalable services
Minimum of 4 years of experience in directly managing a team of engineers
5+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting complex production systems
Deep technical background in scalable, highly available application/services development, with a focus on C#/GO languages and modern cloud architecture
Demonstrated ability to lead technical architecture/design discussions and to drive technical decision-making
Proven track record for implementing end-to-end service ownership, focusing on building reliable, self-healing services and driving robust automation
The ability to establish, track and drive meaningful metrics
A thoughtful, empathetic approach to leadership and collaboration
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/network development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, security reviews, build processes, testing, certification, and production support operations
Experience partnering with product management, cyber security, architecture and program management teams
