Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting: journal entries, booking, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts; ensure proper classification and documentation of transactions
Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and coordination with other departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment
Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain and enhance internal control procedures, including payroll and contract review
Oversee documentation accuracy, approval workflows, and system controls; identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and controls
Work closely with external tax advisors to support timely and accurate tax filings
Review tax-related documentation and provide necessary financial data and clarifications
Generate financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong knowledge of accounting is required
Preferred
CPA or equivalent certification
Knowledge of tax regulations
Experience in a similar industry or company environment
Experience in 0–1 accounting practice
