They are seeking a Tax Analyst who will be responsible for performing indirect and direct tax compliance projects, collaborating with the tax team and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Responsibilities
Support the processing of data used to complete the required Sales & Use Tax filings throughout North America
Work with external tax service providers to ensure the timely filing of various tax filings as well as prepare some filings internally (e.g. capital, property tax, sales & use, excise, etc.)
Work with the legal department to ensure the accuracy of information required for business registrations and annual reports
Manage the data collection activity for Unclaimed Property compliance filings annually
Work closely with various departments to ensure data and process compliance with local regulations
Automate and standardize the process where applicable
Process/File the applicable Unclaimed Property reports
Assist the team in the calculation of the following: Fixed Assets, Unicap, Transfer Pricing, Research and Development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Accounting, preferably with a concentration in tax
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in public tax accounting, preferably working toward a CPA license
Hands-on, self-motivated individual with the ability and desire to create new or improve existing processes and documentation
Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and Word. SAP and Oracle experience is a plus
