Kawasaki Tennessee Inc is seeking a Machining Maintenance Tech to provide multi-craft technical support for the production team. The successful candidate will maintain equipment, minimize downtime, and assist with training and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Provide multi-craft technical support for production team
Maintain equipment in optimal running condition and minimize downtime when machinery fails
Assist for training, projects and countermeasures resulting in the improvement of processes, robots, and machinery
Meet safety, troubleshooting, and promptness requirements to do job successfully

Required

certification from technical school or a 2-year degree for industrial related studies (i.e. TCAT or WSCC associate's degree)
Knowledge of automated production equipment and processes
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
Ability to change robot and CNC motors and dial in machines
High level of troubleshooting ability using multi-meter and megohmmeter
Ability to troubleshoot with PLC Ladder Logic and make minor changes
Familiarity with machining centers, work offsets, tooling offsets, and automation controls such as robotics, washers, leak testing equipment and assembly machines is a plus
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
Ability to troubleshoot and program Fanuc robotics equipment is a plus
Ability to order spare parts

Ability to work in manufacturing plant environment
Ability to lift 50lbs. occasionally
Ability to train others
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Organizational and planning skills
Ability to work overtime and weekends; shift flexibility

Preferred

Omron PLC experience
Experience in fabrication and MIG welding
Machine tool technology
