Responsibilities
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and cost‑optimization efforts by developing and maintaining financial models, ensuring accuracy within defined variance thresholds, and delivering measurable savings through disciplined deal management and cross‑charge planning
Produce timely, executive‑ready financial and competitive insights, and leverage automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and support efficient decision‑making
Manage strategic deal and investment modeling by evaluating ROI, structuring cross‑organization agreements, and partnering with product and engineering teams to inform high‑impact decisions
Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as required
Serve as the Finance point of contact for partners, addressing questions related to revenue, expenses, and compliance
Apply Microsoft Finance fundamentals (e.g., financial systems, policies, metrics, historical performance, reporting, and forecasting requirements) and relevant business context (e.g., monetization strategy, market factors, profitability drivers) to gather information, perform analysis, and complete standardized reporting
Communicate recurring and ad‑hoc results clearly and logically for a variety of audiences
Support compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring financial documents and business processes.Recommend corrective actions when needed and respond to questions related to documentation, policy requirements, and adherence expectations.Stay current on company policies and procedures and share relevant updates with stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
Preferred
Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles
1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization
