Responsibilities
Perform internal audits and FDICIA internal control testing
Maintain proper and complete set of work papers covering each audit and testing performed
Assist with follow-up procedures to ensure all audit exceptions are corrected in a timely manner
Prepare schedules and perform confirmation work for bank management, the bank’s external auditors and regulatory examiners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is required with a preference in business or accounting
Confidentiality and attention to detail are required
Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and co-workers
Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently
Will provide unmatched customer service and exhibit the core values of Cornerstone Bank
Preferred
Banking, audit experience and knowledge of basic accounting practices is preferred
Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products
