Responsibilities
Enter patient charge information from medical documentation into the billing system
Verify the completeness and correctness of charge data, including CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes
Collaborate with clinical staff and coders to clarify and resolve any discrepancies or missing information
Everything that comes in each day, MUST be completed by the end of the day
Needs to be able to interpret doctor notes
Needs to be able to type fast and accurate
Inputting charges into excel spreadsheets
Must maintain daily production and goals
Qualification
Required
High School diploma
Must have medical office experience
EMR - EPIC
