Serve as a professional role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings
Act as a liaison between clinical care and information technology, supporting all caregivers throughout the care continuum in the implementation, learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies

Required

Bachelor's Degree Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
2 or more years of experience in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting
Experience with the Epic EHR platform
Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning

Preferred

Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing
Deep understanding of the Epic EHR platform
Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to interpret clinical data, generate reports, and identify trends
Healthcare Terminology: Understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical documentation
Interdisciplinary Communication: Ability to work with clinicians, IT teams, administrators, and vendors
Critical Thinking: Evaluating system performance and identifying areas for improvement
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with clinical systems
Adaptability: Comfort with fast-paced, evolving healthcare environments
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data and system configurations
Empathy & User-Centered Design: Understanding the needs of clinicians and patients when designing solutions
