Responsibilities
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
Participate in routine visual inspections
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Verification of the Quality of product being produced
Assists in containment of Suspect material or product
Measures parts to validate the product
Creates and executes measurement programs using a coordinate measuring machine utilizing PcDmis and Polyworks software
Maintain Web reporter Data base
Create inspection reports using PcDmis, Polyworks,Excel, and Microsoft word
Complete monthly inspection schedules
Communicates with Engineers and Management regarding status of product
Calibration and repair of gauges
Maintains Gauge Calibration Schedule
Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities
Qualification
Required
Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have at least a minimum of 1 year work experience with CMM and or Scanning/Programming
Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
