Digital Platforms Manager

The Cleveland Orchestra is seeking a Digital Platform Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and overall quality of The Cleveland Orchestra’s digital platforms. This role involves managing platform operations, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experiences across digital services.

Responsibilities

Manage the creation and upkeep of all ClevelandOrchestra.com and The Cleveland Orchestra App events and paid products
Manage Content Management Systems (CMS) permissions, workflows, and governance to maintain platform integrity and reduce errors
Establish and maintain documentation, QA standards, and best practices that support consistent, high-quality digital experiences
Serve as a resource for internal teams by providing guidance, training, and QA review prior to launches
Own testing encoders and working livestreams, which requires occasional weekend commitments throughout the season. Weekly work schedule can be flexed to accommodate any necessary weekend hours
Lead discussions with internal stakeholders when creating anything from event pages to campaign destinations
Own quality assurance across ClevelandOrchestra.com, The Cleveland Orchestra App, and Adella by proactively identifying, testing, and resolving issues before they reach the public
Document, prioritize, and resolve issues when possible, escalating to internal teams or vendors as needed and validating fixes post-release
Continuously monitor critical user journeys to ensure key flows function as intended and meet organizational standards
Support digital initiatives in a way that scales with the role, with opportunities to grow into deeper product ownership and technical leadership over time
Identify recurring issues, system gaps, and opportunities for platform enhancements, contributing insights to product and technical roadmaps
Use analytics and platform data to inform recommendations that improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing, Web Design, Product Management, UX, Business Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
2-4 years' of experience working with digital platforms, websites, mobile apps, or streaming services, with a strong emphasis on digital platform operations
Knowledge of multiple Content Management Systems (CMS) and familiarity with HTML and CSS
Knowledge or curiosity in streaming platforms, subscription services, and entertainment
Comfort working in Agile or iterative development environments; familiarity with common project management and ticketing tools
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving digital platforms
Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work effectively across teams while advocating for quality and accuracy
Proficiency with Google Analytics. Google Analytics Certification a plus

Preferred

Experience livestreaming content preferred but not required
Knowledge of and familiarity with classical repertoire preferred but not required
