They are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Writer to provide technical support in reviewing and developing policies and procedures for federal clients, ensuring compliance, and improving documentation.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support and analysis in the review and development of policies, procedures, directives, regulations, and deliverables instructed by federal client
Responsible for examining the efficacy of existing policies
Review and edit drafts and propose recommendations to improve documentation
Oversee and track compliance of security trainings
Develop systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures
Work closely with stakeholders to determine the goals and objectives of policies

Required

Security-cleared Professional: You are able to obtain and maintain a government issued public trust clearance
A Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred with 3-6 years of experience
Experience with FISMA and NIST policies and procedures
Experience with maintaining security and compliance initiatives and goals
Familiar with Tenable Nessus, ACAS, HBSS or other related systems
