The Assistant Director of Business Development will engage in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities to foster referral relationships and drive hospital admissions.

Responsibilities
Provides Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department
Participates in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives
Plans events, provides tours, performs referral source in-services, acts as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Marketing or Human Services field
Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting
Preferred
Masters degree preferred
Knowledge of the Memphis and Southwest Tennessee behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnoses & symptomology, age specific programming
