Responsibilities
Manage commercial activities through customer-facing visits, presentations, phone calls and e-mails as appropriate in both English and French
Work with the managers and executives to develop as well as execute territory sales plans
Extend and develop relationships with existing and potential customers in both English and Canadian French
Understand and communicate with customers technically in both English and Canadian French
Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and other internal teams
Attend tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events as necessary
Travel within the territory 50-60% of the time
Other projects or responsibilities may be required
Undertake other projects or responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
Bilingual in English and Canadian French
Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or related discipline
2+ years of related bioindustry experience developing, manufacturing, or using recombinant proteins
1+ years of sales or customer-facing experience in the life science industry
Must reside within approximately 40 minutes driving distance of Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC
Preferred
Master's degree or higher in a related field
Broad technical understanding in the field of cell biology and molecular biology with the ability to describe the workflows related to antibody therapeutics as well as cell and gene therapeutics
