Account Clerk part time
RemX is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Office Assistant to support general accounting functions and administrative operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys a mix of financial and office responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Review and schedule vendor invoices for disbursement (Accounts Payable)
Process customer sales invoices and monitor aged receivables (Accounts Receivable)
Support month-end close processes, including running reports, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts
Prepare and ensure accurate and timely general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain a strong internal control environment
Produce financial and operational reports as requested
Respond to internal and external customer and vendor inquiries
Review vendor statements and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy
Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized files
Qualification
Required
Reliable and detail-oriented
Strong accounting foundation
Experience with Accounts Payable
Experience with Accounts Receivable
Ability to support month-end close processes
Ability to run reports and prepare journal entries
Ability to reconcile accounts
Ability to maintain a strong internal control environment
Ability to produce financial and operational reports
Ability to respond to internal and external customer and vendor inquiries
Ability to review vendor statements and research discrepancies
