Service Manager - Pest Control

Responsibilities
Interview, hire, and train Service Technicians on both technical skills and customer service, ensuring they understand sales assist leads and can identify new service opportunities for the sales team
Perform field training, manage customer account audits, resolve inquiries or complaints, and review online service feedback, providing coaching to Service Technicians as needed
Collaborate with the Field Manager, Service Technicians, and sales professionals to optimize business operations, manage service routes (including special scheduling), and maintain inventory and GPS systems
Run service routes as needed, conduct daily service ticket audits, assist with incident reporting, adhere to the expense budget, and participate in weekly key manager meetings
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of pest control experience and previous management experience preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role
Driving record must meet the company's insurance standards
Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided)
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access tight spaces like basements, attic and tight spaces
Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting
Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus
Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions
Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required
Moderate noise level in the work environment
