Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain secure network solutions across enterprise and data center environments
Configure and support Palo Alto firewall platforms, including high availability, policy enforcement, and remote access solutions
Implement and manage large-scale VPN architectures supporting segmented access and secure connectivity
Support Cisco-based switching and routing environments, ensuring performance, resiliency, and compliance with standards
Administer network access control solutions leveraging Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Participate in network architecture reviews, capacity planning, and technology evaluations
Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple layers and technologies, driving issues to resolution
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on integrated solutions
Provide technical guidance and validation of designs proposed by internal teams or external partners
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies in enterprise environments
Proven background supporting VPN technologies, including IPsec and SSL-based solutions
Strong working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching platforms
Experience administering or supporting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking principles
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in production environments
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7+ years of experience in a network engineering or infrastructure role
Preferred
Exposure to data center networking technologies and architectures
Experience working with Nexus switching platforms
Familiarity with enterprise wireless solutions and controllers
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
Experience supporting highly available and fault-tolerant network designs
Cisco certifications such as CCNA or higher are preferred
Additional industry certifications are a plus
