The Senior Engineer In Test (SDET) will design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks across the full technology stack, helping define test strategy and quality standards for complex enterprise applications.

Responsibilities
Define test strategies and quality approaches for complex full stack applications, including APIs, UIs, and back-end services
Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks (from scratch where needed) using tools such as Serenity, Cucumber, REST-assured, and related technologies
Develop and execute automated tests for end-to-end scenarios, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
Collaborate closely with Full Stack Engineers, Systems Analysts, and Product Owners within Agile teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability
Analyze defects, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement of development and release processes
Qualification
Required
6–10 years of QA/SDET experience with strong hands-on automation skills across API, UI, and integration layers
Proven experience building or extending test automation frameworks, ideally leveraging Serenity, Cucumber, REST-assured, or similar tools
Familiarity with Java or other object-oriented languages, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub), and testing in containerized/cloud environments
Experience working within Agile teams, partnering with developers and analysts to design testable solutions and comprehensive coverage
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Prior financial services experience is preferred but not required
