Sales Intern
Prime Time International is dedicated to the healthy growth of their company and partners through the fresh produce supply chain. The Sales Intern will support the sales team by learning about produce sales operations, order management, and customer service while gaining hands-on experience in agricultural sales and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
Learn to accurately enter customer orders into ERP systems (Famous) and verify order details
Assist with daily inventory updates and availability tracking
Support order confirmations and coordinate with Account Managers on customer specifications
Understand the end-to-end order flow from entry to delivery
Track paperwork, Bills of Lading (BOL), and shipping documentation
Respond to customer and internal inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
Assist Account Managers with status checks and order edits during execution
Flag missing information or potential issues proactively to the team
Build working knowledge of produce specifications and customer requirements
Participate in periodic sales strategy meetings and learn market dynamics
Assist with sales and grower reporting to understand business analytics
Shadow sales professionals to understand relationship management and deal flow
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of bachelor's degree program in Business, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field
Strong academic interest in sales, operations, or agricultural business
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Ability to learn new software systems quickly (ERP/Famous training provided)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
