Responsibilities
Lead Manufacturing Operations: Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with organizational goals
Ensure Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to GMP, FDA, and GMED standards; validate processes and documentation
Drive Process Improvements: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste
Strategic Planning & Execution: Align manufacturing objectives with company strategies; contribute to long-term operational planning
Modernization & Safety: Upgrade processes and equipment to improve throughput and safety; enforce compliance with all safety regulations
Team Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of innovation and accountability; mentor team members and support professional growth
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve production, personnel, quality, and safety issues promptly to minimize disruptions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with QA, QC, EH&S, Planning, HR and Engineering teams; engage with auditing agencies to ensure compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management or related field
7-10 years minimum experience in supervisory/managerial capacity
Proven track record of leading teams in a GMP/FDA/GMED regulated environment
Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating varied and complex operations
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies
Commitment to safety, quality standard and plant policies
Familiarity with ERP/SAP
