Responsibilities

Review loan application and product information to determine appropriate verification needs
Order and track IRS Tax Transcripts based on borrower income type and loan product
Order Verbal Verifications of Employment (VVOEs), income/employment work orders, and follow up as needed
Manage ordering of appraisals, title insurance, and homeowners insurance (as phased into workflow)
Utilize AI technology to identify discrepancies between borrower-provided documentation and third-party verifications
Maintain real-time task dashboards and communicate status updates to processors and branch teams
Escalate documentation inconsistencies or delays to appropriate team members
Coordinate with underwriting and compliance teams to ensure all required documentation is complete before submission
Participate in testing and implementation of AI tools that support the task workflow

Required

1+ years of mortgage operations experience, ideally in processing, disclosures, or post-closing
Working knowledge of loan documentation types and verification processes

Adaptability to evolving technology and willingness to learn AI-supported processes
Strong communication and time-management skills

Preferred

Familiarity with Encompass and automated processing tools
