Serve as the authority for assigned projects, managing all related issues and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of technical items, schedule and cost
Lead automation projects while partnering with operations, quality, supply chain, engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of projects within the manufacturing environment
Coordinate with external vendors and technical partners deliver projects within safety requirements, scope, on time and on budget
Contribute to ISO 9001 compliance and ensure all automation systems comply with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
Help identify, evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, vision systems, IoT, robotics, etc.)
Perform additional duties as needed to support engineering and operational goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in technical or engineering field
Strong understanding of robotics, welding, machining, and assembly
Experience programming robots, CNC machines or other coding languages
Proficient in reading and writing technical documents, customer reports and industry publications
Capable of presenting information clearly in small group settings
Solid math skills for job-related calculations
Able to make sound decisions based on technical specifications and requirements
Advanced computer skills in solid modeling, AI prompting, Microsoft suite tools, and graphics/drawings
