Client Service Representative - Part-Time

United Veterinary Care is looking for a Part-Time Client Care Representative to join their teams in Austin and Round Rock. The role involves providing excellent client service and supporting the veterinary care team by managing appointments, client interactions, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Answer multiple line phones
Schedule appointments
Greet clients upon arrival
Prepare and collect information from clients to create or update their pet’s chart
Explain hospital policy as it applies to payment for services rendered
Faxing, filing, mailing
Reminder calls
Performing end-of-day duties
Properly use the computer to schedule appointments, enter new client and new pet information, and generate invoices
Appropriately prepare billings, receipts, collect, and record all payments for services rendered
Consistent, on time arrival and attendance at work each day you are scheduled
Always be in position and prepared to work at the start of each shift
Good communication skills
Ability to work well with others as a team
Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a changing environment
Handle stress and pressure calmly, with poise and tact
Self-motivated, hard worker
Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate appropriately
Willingness and ability to learn new tasks quickly
Ability to receive constructive criticism and accept responsibility for actions
Reliable and dependable
Common sense, good judgment and sense of humor

Qualification

Customer service experienceBasic computer knowledgeVeterinary field knowledgeOffice equipment operationCommunication skills

Required

GED or High School Diploma
Two years minimum customer service experience
Basic computer knowledge
Know how to operate basic office equipment
Frequently required to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds

Preferred

Knowledge of the veterinary field is preferred, but not required
