Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement
Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued
Completes daily Title 31 compliance audits and summarizes findings in a clear and concise manner
Review and ensure accuracy of Title 31 related forms completed by casino staff
Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations and complete compliance files with documentation to substantiate findings
Performs research using proprietary commercial databases and internet and social media sites to obtain information relevant to a patron’s identification, occupation, residency, and possible negative news
Ensure timely and accurate submission of Title 31 required document filings
Conduct due diligence during internal and external investigations as related to Title 31
Monitor and review all Title 31 operational areas and assist in the drafting of sound, effective and operationally efficient internal control procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Conduct Title 31 audits to ensure proper aggregation for the filing of a CTR and gathering all available information for the investigation of potential suspicious activity
Provide any other Title 31 support to casino departments and functions as needed
Process requests for information sharing under Section 314(b) and ensure prior examination findings are tracked and addressed
Perform AML Risk Assessments
Uses independent thinking to evaluate patron activity and report suspicious or high-risk files to the attention of the AML Committee for review
Keep current with all regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML and ensuring processes and procedures adhere to those regulations
Assist in the investigation of internal escalations in addition to completing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR)
Facilitates all Title 31 training and retraining efforts enterprise wide
Maintains documentation of Title 31 training for all gaming staff
Maintain excellent communications with all Directors and Managers
Implements approved departmental policies and procedures
Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality and productivity
Responsible to interpret data, records, reports, and forms
Perform research, identification of application of problem areas and the ability to develop, present and apply recommendations
Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS)
Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required
Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment
Able to make difficult decisions in a fair and honest manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department

Required

High School Degree (or GED)
Must pass periodic random drug screens
Must be able to pass background suitability investigation
Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License
Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment
Must be able to analyze accounts/transactions and identify/report on anomalies
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Three (3) years (or equivalent) Compliance experience
CAMS certification
Must possess working knowledge of the Anti-money Laundering policies and procedures for Title 31 transaction reporting departments (i.e., Cage Operations and Table Games)
