Training & Development Specialist - Frontline Leadership (Facilitator)

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Training & Development Specialist for a leading player in the airline industry. The role focuses on delivering high-impact, instructor-led training for frontline leaders and operational staff, emphasizing engagement and real-world application of leadership and communication concepts.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Lead engaging, instructor-led training sessions for frontline leaders, supervisors, and operational teams (primarily in-person; virtual facilitation as needed)
Create an inclusive, participatory learning environment that encourages discussion, collaboration, and peer learning
Adapt facilitation style based on audience experience levels, labor environment considerations, and operational context
Manage group dynamics effectively while maintaining alignment with learning objectives, session timing, and program outcomes
Reinforce leadership, communication, safety awareness, and people-management concepts through real-world scenarios and application
Coordinate training schedules, session logistics, facilities, and overall class readiness as needed
Partner with Instructional Designers and SMEs to support course updates, enhancements, and assessment/exam materials
Collect, analyze, and summarize participant feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with training record maintenance, reporting, and curriculum compliance tracking
Support blended learning initiatives, webinars, and supplemental training materials
Provide insights on training effectiveness, learner engagement trends, and improvement opportunities

Required

Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, real-time environments with professionalism and adaptability
Prior experience as a frontline leader or supervisor
Background in operations-focused, safety-driven, or regulated industries
Demonstrated experience facilitating instructor-led training for adult learners
Experience delivering leadership, supervisory, or professional development training
Experience working within or supporting union-based or operational work environments
Experience facilitating both classroom and virtual learning environments
Experience supporting training logistics, coordination, or project-based initiatives
