Manuscripts writing and grant/fellowship application
Laboratory maintenance
Supervising undergraduate students and graduate students
Presentation at local, national, or international meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
PhD or MD or foreign equivalent in hand by date of hire
Molecular and cell biology skills on mammalian cells or mouse models
Demonstrated experience in skin or epithelial biology, developmental biology, extracellular matrix biology, signal transduction, or protein-protein interaction
Computer skills in data and statistical analyses are required
A proven record of productivity as demonstrated by recent first author publications in leading peer-reviewed journals is expected
Three years of postdoctoral research experience
Preferred
Proficient in a broad spectrum of common molecular and cell biology or biochemistry skills, including qRT-PCR, western blotting, immunofluorescence, and fluorescent microscopy
Experience in studying skin, hair follicle, skin cancer, or epithelial-mesenchymal interaction, and genetically engineered mouse models is a plus
The ideal candidate should be an excellent team player, capable of working independently on multiple projects, and a clear academic career plan
