Senior Mechanical Engineer
GPac is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will lead mechanical design and implementation projects, ensuring budget, timeline, and quality goals are met.

Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design and implementation projects, ensuring budget, timeline, and quality goals
Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and technical assessments for system sizing and design
Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, NFPA)
Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, equipment selections, submittals, and cost estimates
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems
Collaborate with clients, owners, and internal teams; provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
8–10+ years of mechanical engineering design or design-build experience (HVAC and piping systems focus, plumbing knowledge a plus)
Proficient in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP) and building management systems (BMS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to mentor junior engineers
Proven ability to lead projects and teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
LEED accreditation a plus
