Responsibilities
Create compelling 3D and 2D product cosmetics, including hand sketches, illustrations, technical drawings, color concepts, mood/inspiration boards, and graphic solutions
Generate visual ideas through sketches and detailed renderings that clearly communicate design intent
Present design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams, using strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Maintain a high standard for detail, craftsmanship, and design quality
Demonstrate a diverse visual vocabulary, delivering concepts that range from clean and sophisticated to disruptive and trend-setting
Collaborate closely with category leaders and engineers to align design proposals with strategic product goals and performance requirements
Ensure an organized and efficient workflow throughout the design process
Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Expert ability in standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Proficiency in SolidWorks modeling and visualization
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in golf equipment production
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to resolve complex performance, cost, and design challenges with aesthetically pleasing solutions
Collaborate effectively with experienced designers, engineers, and product category leaders to execute successful products
Passion for the game of golf; Knowledge of functional golf equipment and design trends, particularly within the sporting goods industry
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Sports Performance Design, or a related field
7-10 years of experience in industrial or 3D design for consumer products
Preferred
5 years of design experience in the golf industry strongly preferred
